A memory became wine

My passion for wine founds its roots in a memory that dazzles my mind of green light, on a warm summer afternoon, in my beloved granfather’s vineyard.
Very often, history gives to wine a soul and a heart, leaving at the time the task of creating a great wine. So, I turned that beautiful memory into wine, going back to cultivating those vines, able to bring you back in time, talking about my origins and my land, telling a story to the new generations, destined to last forever.

About us

The Merinum Cellars born in Vieste in the Foresta Umbra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, from the strong passion for the world of wine, a passion that is passed on from generation to generation from father to son. Quality is our main goal, we work autochthonous vines of the territory, such as Bombino Bianco, Nero di Troia, Sussumaniello and Malvasia Nera. We provide our guests, through our wines, an experiential service, aimed at the enhancement of the Gargano territory.

Wine Tasting

the Cantine Merinum express a territory through aromas and taste, including also historical notes and insights on the winemaking processes of the selected wines, all this thanks to the collaboration of an expert sommelier who will be happy to respond to the curiosity of the guests. The wine tasting takes place at the Tenuta Padre Pio’s pool, where will be served three glasses of wine (a glass of white, a rosé and a red) and tasty dishes of typical local products and zero kilometer products that coming directly from our vegetable garden. After the wine tasting it is possible to take a walk at sunset in the vineyard, situated at the bottom of the Foresta Umbra, Gargano National Park and Unesco Heritage, in order to complete the experience with the direct knowledge of the native vines of Gargano. It is also available, in English and French, in groups of 4 to a maximum of 12 people, in order to guarantee the best experience for each participant.
